In August 2020, Mingjie Group assisted a client in upgrading the batch pyrolysis unit to a semi-continuous pyrolysis plant in Thailand. The original pyrolysis unit, purchased from South Korea, was used to process waste plastics from landfills.

To address the inefficiency of the original pyrolysis plant in Thailand, Mingjie Group equipped it with an automated feeding and slag removal system. This system enables high-temperature feeding, significantly improving processing efficiency. After the upgrade, the waste plastic pyrolysis unit's processing capacity increased from 5 tons/day to 10 tons/day.

In terms of environmental protection, the semi-continuous pyrolysis plant in Thailand performs exceptionally well. Pollutant control is extremely stringent during the process. The pyrolysis reaction takes place in an oxygen-free or low-oxygen sealed environment, greatly reducing the generation of harmful gases. Furthermore, the gases produced during pyrolysis are purified before being released, resulting in even less environmental pollution.

We are committed to provide high quality waste plastic pyrolysis plant, and set up long term business with the clients.

Comparison of Batch and Semi-Continuous Pyrolysis Plant in Thailand

Semi-continuous waste plastic pyrolysis plant demonstrates superior efficiency in terms of throughput and production cycle. A semi-continuous pyrolysis unit can process up to 15 tons of waste per day, while a batch pyrolysis unit of the same scale only processes about 10 tons per day.

Regarding the production cycle, batch pyrolysis equipment typically requires a longer time to complete the entire process of feeding, pyrolysis, discharging, and cooling. From waste plastic feeding to discharge, batch pyrolysis equipment may take 24 hours or even longer, plus cooling time.

Semi-continuous waste plastic pyrolysis plant has a screw feed and water-cooled screw discharge system. The feeding and discharging processes can be carried out almost uninterruptedly, significantly shortening the production cycle. Compared to batch pyrolysis equipment, semi-continuous equipment processes the same amount of waste plastic in approximately 16 hours, increasing production efficiency by about 33%.
